Forest grew up playing on the dirt mounds at Basset Creek Park and playing little league at Grogan Park. An alum of Cooper High School, Forest knows Crystal.
Forest worked most of his career with the Army Corps of Engineers and National Park Service in the natural resource field. He attended the U of MN Twin Cities for both his bachelor's and master's degrees. After graduating with his Master's degree in Natural Resource Sciences and Management, Forest, his wife Jessi, returned to Crystal and bought a home in the Forest neighborhood.
Forest currently works for the Minnesota Commerce Department as an energy regulatory supervisor. He has served on the Crystal Parks and Recreation Commission and was elected to serve on the Crystal City Council in 2023.
Forest loves the diversity, freedom, and affordability that Crystal offers. But the best part of the city is its strong sense of community. It is rare to find a place where people know everyone on their block and businesses are owned by locals. By electing Forest, our city will continue to be a thriving community where all residents regardless of what they look like, what they believe, or where they came from can feel safe and prosper.
